The American company Anthropic, one of the main developers of generative artificial intelligence, has proposed the creation of an international mechanism that would allow major players in the industry to slow down or even temporarily suspend the development of the most advanced AI systems, to give society the time it needs to adapt to technological changes, AFP reports.
